How long does it take?+
About a minute from the moment you stop talking. You watch it happen rather than waiting for an email.
Do I need to know anything technical?+
No. If you can describe the app to a colleague, you can describe it to doBuddy. There is nothing to configure.
What kinds of apps work best?+
Apps built around a list of things and a few rules: bookings, customers, orders, stock, checklists, loyalty. Most small business apps are exactly that.
Can I change it afterwards?+
Yes, by talking. Say what should be different and the screen updates in front of you. Every version is kept, so you can go back.
Can my customers use it?+
Yes. Share it and they open it on their own phone, with their own sign-in.
Who owns the information in the app?+
You do. Your customers, bookings and records are yours, and you can export them whenever you want.
Can it take payments?+
Not yet. Payments are on our roadmap, and our security team is currently working through the compliance and infrastructure requirements needed to handle them safely. We plan to make this available soon.
What if it misunderstands me?+
doBuddy repeats the plan back before building. Correct it there, or after, in the same conversation.
