Terms of Use — doBuddy

The service and its early-stage nature

doBuddy is a platform where you describe a mobile app idea out loud or in writing and AI turns that idea into a plan and a working app experience on your device. The service is provided by Walnut Stack, L.L.C., a Delaware limited liability company located in Newark, Delaware, United States.

doBuddy is early-stage. Features may change, be temporarily disabled, or be removed. Automatic publishing of apps to the App Store or Google Play is not a feature of the current version; the in-app waitlist exists only to measure interest.

Account, eligibility, and age

To use the service you sign in with your Apple or Google account. You must be at least 13 years old, at least 16 if you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and legally able to enter into a contract where you live. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you may only use the service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for the security of the Apple or Google account you sign in with.
All activity carried out through your account is treated as yours.
If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately at support@dobuddy.ai.
You may not use someone else's account or identity, or organization credentials without authorization.

Your inputs and generated outputs

The inputs you provide by voice or in writing, the materials you upload, and the plans, app definitions, and app content produced from them are your responsibility.

You represent that you hold the necessary rights and permissions for the content you provide.
If you use third-party trademarks, copyrighted works, designs, data, or personal data, you must be authorized to do so.
You decide who you offer your app to and how you publish it; the consequences of those decisions are yours.
You grant us a limited right to process, store, and transmit your inputs and outputs to our service providers so we can operate, improve, and deliver the service to you.

Notice about AI outputs

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or similar to other outputs. doBuddy does not warrant the accuracy, originality, copyright status, security, legality, or fitness of outputs for any particular or commercial purpose.

You must test the app you generate before using it, publishing it, or offering it to third parties.
Performing the necessary legal, security, and data protection checks is your responsibility.
Do not use outputs in regulated areas such as health, finance, or law without professional review.

Prohibited uses

You may not use the service to:

Generate unlawful content or carry out unlawful activity.
Infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or personality rights of others.
Create malware, fraud, phishing, or deceptive content.
Attempt to bypass security measures, reverse engineer our systems, or overload the service.
Collect, process, or share other people's personal data without permission.
Circumvent credit or usage limits through automated tools or other abuse.

If you breach these rules, we may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice.

Intellectual property, feedback, and branding

The doBuddy app, platform, interface, runtime technology, and related names and logos belong to Walnut Stack, L.L.C.
Your inputs and the app content you generate belong to you, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
The doBuddy name, logo, and visual identity may not be used without permission.
We may use the feedback you send us to improve the product, without creating any obligation to you.

Subscriptions, credits, and payments

Paid subscriptions and credit packs may be offered. Purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to the rules of the relevant store.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your store settings.
Cancellations are made from the store account settings on your device.
Pricing, tax, refunds, and purchase restoration are handled by the relevant store.
Used credits are non-refundable; credits are consumed when AI actions are performed.
We may change prices and plan contents on a forward-looking basis.

Service changes, suspension, and termination

We reserve the right to improve, change, or discontinue parts of the service. We may suspend or terminate your use for breach of these terms, legal obligation, or security reasons. You may stop using the service at any time and request deletion of your account at privacy@dobuddy.ai.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We make no express or implied warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce a particular result.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Walnut Stack, L.L.C. is not liable for lost profits, lost data, loss of reputation, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Third-party services

The service relies on third-party providers such as Apple, Google/Firebase, Supabase, OpenAI, Anthropic, Microsoft Clarity, and RevenueCat. Their own terms and privacy policies apply. We explain how data is processed in detail in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law and disputes

These terms and your use of the service are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, and you consent to that venue.

If you are a consumer, this clause does not affect the mandatory rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms. We will announce material changes in the app or by email; continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms. Effective date: August 25, 2026.
